JAMMU, Apr 16: Gadigarh police arrested a drug peddler along with poppy straw.
As per police sources, a team from Gadigarh police post apprehended a noted drug peddler along with three kilograms poppy straw.
The accused has been identified as Jagjeet Singh alias Vicky, son of Teja Singh, a resident of Upper Gadigarh.
The accused is a driver by profession and used to bring the contraband from Valley for selling it among the youth.
A case under FIR Number 62/16 has been registered at Satwari police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Gadigarh police post SI Jaswinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Satwari, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
