JAMMU, Apr 16: IG BSF, Jammu Frontiers, DK Upadhyaya today reviewed security arrangements along the International Border in Jammu sector and directed all DIGs and Commandants to keep security personnel alert on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Katra on April 19.
Official sources said Upadhyaya chaired high level meeting of all DIGs and Commandants of BSF in Jammu region to review security arrangements ahead of forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister and thwart any kind of misadventure by the anti-national elements.
He issued directions on specific and different operational scenario to have close contact with all security forces and administration to ensure safety and security of the border population.
Upadhyaya called for strict surveillance along the International Border by the security personnel.
