Train services resume after remaining suspended for 4 days

SRINAGAR :  Train services resumed in the Kashmir valley today after remaining suspended for four days due to security reasons. A Railway official told UNI that train services between Srinagar-Badgam in the central Kashmir with Baramulla in north Kashmir and between Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir with Banihal in Jammu region have resumed.
All the trains are running as per schedule, he said. Railway services were suspended in the Kashmir valley following strike called by separatists organisations in protest against the killing of five people, including a woman in alleged security force firing in Kupwara and attacks on Kashmiri students outside the valley.
