JAMMU, Apr 18: Government today constituted a 3-member committee which after taking a holistic view of the functioning of the Revenue Department will recommend appropriate measures for streamlining the functioning of Revenue Department to ensure effective public service delivery.
The decision in this regard was taken by Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari in a high level meeting here.
The three member committee will comprise of Special Secretary Revenue, Additional Secretary LJCPA and Deputy Secretary Revenue. The Committee will recommend measures for delegation of authority, transfer policy and human resource management including performance appraisal of officers working in the Revenue Department.
