Chairperson PWWA distributes scholarship among meritorious students

JAMMU, Apr 18: Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA), K Vijaya Rajendra distributed scholarship of Rs.1,19,000 among the meritorious students of Police Public School Jammu, at a function organized by school administration at Miran Sahib here today.
The beneficiaries include the students of class 10th and 12th  who have exhibited  outstanding performance in academics  during the year 2015-16.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Vijaya described teachers as architects, who hold key to the bright future of the students. She said teachers are guardians who handhold the students and guide them on the path of success. She asked the teachers to work on strengthening their relationship with the students and help them imbibe leadership qualities.
Chairperson said that it was due to the hard work by the students and the dedication of the teachers that the children brought laurels to the school and their parents.
On the occasion, students were also felicitated with certificates of appreciation and a cash prizes for their contribution in making arrangements for the Annual Day function.
Principal, Sanjev Pradhan in his address, threw light on the dedication of teaching staff and the excellent performance of students.
Among others the function was attended by PWWA member, Haseena Wani, Dy Director Prosecution, Parshotam Sharma and staff members of the institution.
