JAMMU, Apr 19: A meeting of residents of Choprian Hatta, Jewel, ward number 19, was held, wherein various issues faced by them were discussed, today.
The meeting was chaired by Vikram Singh, PDP youth leader who discussed problems faced the local resident of mohalla which pertained to allotment of land after filling up of forms under Roshni Act, de-siltation of drains, construction of urinals as well as bathrooms as there is rush of passengers and pilgrims, unemployment and involvement of youths in drugs.
He said all the demands are genuine and he will try his best to redress as soon as possible while allotment of land is a major issue and there are several un-authorized colonies and the issue would be discussed with the Revenue Minister.
Prominent among those who spoke were Mohan Choudhary, Sahil Kumar, Bunty Kumar, Gourav Bhandari, Anmol Vasan and Rohit Dogra.
