KP delegation calls on Chief Minister

JAMMU, Apr 20: A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits, under the banner of Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee called on Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and submitted a memorandum regarding the problems confronting Kashmiri Pandits.
The delegation was led by MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir and Pintoo Ji, president Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee.
The charter of demands submitted via memorandum included economic rehabilitation to over-aged KP youths, Special Police Recruitment Drive for Pandits, simplifying the procedure of Medical Corps Fund, enhancement of relief and benefits of relief to newly born babies, proper implementation of PM’s Package, releasing of pending ex-gratia and compensation to left-over property, maintenance of quarters, roads and parks at Jagti and other migrant camps, up-gradation of migrant Camp Schools, adequate water supply at Jagti and posting of doctors proper health facility to Jagti, besides issuing of RBA certificates, simple procedure for bifurcation, allotment of shops and establishment of ITI and Degree College at Jagti.
Chief Minster after listening the demands keenly assured the delegation for early redressal of the problems.
Those who accompanied the delegation were ON Kaw, Roshan Lal Bhat, SK Bhat, Dilip Kumar, Vimal Raina, Kanya Lal Koul, Kundan Lal Raina, Ramesh Kumar, Deepak Ji, Sahab Ji, Ashwani Kumar and Chand Ji Pandita.
