JAMMU, Apr 20: Bagh-e-Bahu police rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station laid a naka and intercepted two trucks.
During checking, police rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested one smuggler, who has been identified as Mohd Sharief, son of Nazir Ahmed of Qazigund.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Inspector Vijay Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
