JAMMU, Apr 22: The Law School, University of Jammu, today organized an interactive session on the topic ‘Confidence Building & Legal Profession’.
Dr Sarada Sree Devi Amma was the resource person on the occasion. She is a retired professor from School Management Studies, Kerala and offers courses in counseling for lawyers in the Department of Legal Studies in Cochin University.
Dr Sarada is an acclaimed psychologist and renowned counselor across the globe. In her lecture, she focused on psychological development of the students as it is an important aspect of personality of an advocate. She talked extensively on how to build the right attitude as a potent tool for facing the challenges of legal profession.
During the session, she conducted exercises to boost the confidence of the students and the students eagerly participated in the simulation exercises. The change in the personality of students was evident in a short span with all the students participating.
Dr Sanjay Gupta, Director, The Law School, welcomed the guests and students while Dr Monica Narang, Assistant Professor, introduced the resource person to the audience.
Dr Shubha Vats, Dr Mrinalini Atrey and Rana Ravinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
