JAMMU, Apr 22: ABVP Jammu University today organized a “Help Desk” for the students who were suffering from the system of Red Tapism prevailing in the University campus.
Students faced major problems like lack in number of teachers appointed for attesting documents and lack of information as to where from to collect Revaluation form, Reappear form and where to submit them.
Help Desk organized by ABVP Jammu University volunteers redressed various problems of students like documents to attach with the form, attestation of forms, submission of forms, fee marking, etc.
Meanwhile, ABVP Jammu Mahangar joint secretary, Deepak Gupta asked the university administration to adopt self attestation system, which is being followed by whole India. He also asked the administration to provide the record of Professors so deployed for the attestation process outside DSW office along with their contact numbers and departments.
He further said that there should be single window system that should be adopted by the administration so that the student may not have to move from one block to another.
