BJP holds free medical camp

JAMMU, Apr 23: With a view to provide succour to the poor and down trodden sections of the society at their door steps by providing them best medi-care free of cost, BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma inaugurated a free medical camp which was organised and coordinated by State vice president Yudhvir Sethi at the new BJP Office, Dr Shyama Parsad Mukherjee Bhawan, Trikuta Nagar, here in collaboration with B.L.K. Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi.
Sat Sharma formally inaugurate the Camp and addressed large number of patients besides party workers and congratulated the doctors for remembering their roots and people though serving in Delhi and other parts of India. Sat Sharma assured every kind of help to the Doctors for organising such functions in the future too in different localities for the welfare of people of J&K.
He said that recently in the Mann ki Baat programme, Prime Minister has drawn the attention of every citizen towards the deadly disease Diabetes which is fastly engulfing the whole country and keeping in view this alarming scenario, a mega free camp is organised so that people who are prone to this disease be provided relief by conducting free test whose costs is too much in the open market.
Yudhvir Sethi, in his welcome address said that as per the party’s motto to serve and reach out to the common people besides providing good governance and best medicare facilities at their doorsteps, BJP leadership of J&K has started this missionary mode Free Medical Camp for the poor & downtrodden. Sethi has also applauded the doctors for providing respite to the common man by conducting various tests like Lipid Profile, Sugar, BP, ECG free of cost.
About 800 patients today undergone various tests and consulted the Doctors about various ailments.
