JAMMU, Apr 24: Burglars struck into a house during the intervening night of April 23 and 24 in Chowki Choura area of Akhnoor and decamped with cash and gold ornaments.
According to the complainant, Chanchal Singh son of Amar Singh, a resident of Chowki Choura, the burglary occurred during the night when they were sleeping in the open area in front of their house. In his complaint to police station Akhnoor, he said that they came to know of the burglary in the morning, when they saw the back wall of their house broken.
He said that a cash amount of Rs 24000 and gold ornaments were missing from the house when they checked the house.
A case under relevant sections was registered in this connection at police station Akhnoor.
