JAMMU, Apr 24: An elderly man today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Jagdish (70) of Dhanbad (Katra) had suffered serious injuries in an accident at Katra following which he was shifted to GMCH Jammu for specialized treatment on April 22.
“However, the victim succumbed to his injuries in the hospital early this morning at about 4.30.”, he said, adding the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
