JAMMU, Apr 26: The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of ABVP is going to be held in Jammu from May 28 to June 1, 2016.
This was informed by during a press conference, jointly addressed by State secretary Varsha Jandial, NEC Members Mayur Patil and Manoj Thakur, here today.
Varsha Jandial said that National Executive Council meeting of ABVP is used to be held every year in different States where the whole activities of the previous years are discussed and the detailed planning of working for the next year takes place among the national team along with National Executive Council of ABVP. After an interval of 18 years, ABVP NEC meeting is going to be held in Jammu district of J&K, she added
During this 5-day meeting, a thorough discussion on the educational, environmental, security issues prevailing in the country will be specifically discussion and a resolution on the development of the J&K State would be adopted.
She further said that ABVP is going to have a “Samajik Darshan” event in which the students from different section of the society would feel the social issues that are emerging as a threat to the society ultimately leading a threat to the nation.
In J&K, this event would take place from June 15 to June 25 in maximum districts of the State in which students would be out of their homes for more than a week as a Vistarak and feel the society by living among them.
