JWAM protests against ‘NIT Srinagar inquiry report’

JAMMU, Apr 26: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a peaceful protest against the inquiry report submitted by the NIT Srinagar inquiry committee, terming the report malicious and a conspiracy to ouster the non-local students from the institution.
Addressing the protesting activists, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple, condemned the malicious inquiry report submitted by the inquiry committee. He said that the report is a conspiracy against the non local students holding them responsible for law and order problem in the institution.
Dimple expressed surprise that the local students who raised pro Afzal and pro Pakistan slogans and burnt National flags were given clean chit by the committee while the non-local students who chanted National slogans and hoisted Tricolor were held responsible for the law order problem in NIT Srinagar.
He appealed the people to support the nationalists non local students of NIT Srinagar as their career is at stake and this is fight and a battle between the nationalists and anti-nationalist forces.
Alleging that the non-local students are not safe and secure in NIT Srinagar, Dimple demanded the Prime Minister to open NIT campus in Jammu and immediately migrate all the NIT outsider students to other States and in Jammu.
