BHADERWAH, Apr 26: A youth was killed, while two others received injuries, when the bike they were riding on, skidded off the road and plunged into gorge on Chamba road here this evening.
As per police sources, a motorcycle was on its way to Bhaderwah from Chamba, when the rider lost control over it and it plunged into gorge, causing injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, where doctors declared one of the injured persons identified as Amresh Kumar, son of Sham Lal, a resident of Thathri, at present Mohallah Khakhal as brought dead, while the condition of two injured persons was stated to be critical, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Anil, son of Mukesh and Ravi, son of Jagdish, both resident of Thathri, at present Mohalla Khakhal.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
