JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Director General (Coordination), S K Mishra and others today called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.
The DG (Coordination) briefed the Governor about the comprehensive communication network which has been established to improve coordination among the law enforcement agencies involved in the security of the State. The Governor discussed with Mr Mishra several matters related to internal security management.
Meanwhile, S Gopal Reddy, DG SDRF and Civil Defence Home Guards, also called on Mr Vohra and briefed the Governor about the preparedness of the SDRF and Home Guards in dealing with natural and man made calamities and also being available for any arising problem in regard to the pilgrimages to the State.
L Mohanti, ADGP Armed during his meeting briefed the Governor about the details of the Armed Police organisation in J&K and how it is presently deployed in dealing with law enforcement and related exigencies in the State. (AGENCIES)
