JAMMU, Apr 27: Senior Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister Sham Lal said that Government is harassing daily wagers, need basis, ITI trained and ReTs by turning a blind eye towards their urgent needs.
He added that Government has failed to pay attention to PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control casual employees and ITI trained workers as a result the common man is also facing hardship due to erratic water supply.
Sharma said that the weather is getting hot day by day and in case the grievances of the workers are not redressed, then people will have to suffer a lot.
Sham said that the Government should redress the grievances of these daily wagers by regularizing them in phased manner.
“The ground of resolving the issue has already been carried out by the previous Congress-NC Government and making same criteria the present Government can resolve the issue of the daily wagers without any further delay”, he asserted.
Sharma also alleged that the ReT teachers in the State were also harassed by the BJP-PDP Government by its proposal of screening test of ReT teachers, who were selected purely on merit basis.
He asked the Government not to disturb the education system in the State.
