JAMMU, Apr 28: A man was seriously injured tonight after he was stabbed by another person here near General Bus Stand.
According to a police spokesman, today at about 9 pm, one Parbhat Singh alias Patwari son of Bihari Lal, a resident of Resham Ghar was attacked by one Pawandeep Singh son of Anoop Singh of Gole Gujral camp with a sharp edged weapon (kirch), over some unknown issue.
He said Parbat received serious injuries in his stomach and was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
A case FIR No 19/2016 under Section 307/341/323 RPC and 4/25 IA Act was registered at police station Bus Stand and investigations taken up.
