PDP workers’ delegation calls on Veeri, Bukhari

JAMMU, Apr 28: A delegation of PDP workers led by A K Sidha met Minister of R&B and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri and apprised him about the various issues regarding the development works of migrant colonies and Jagti township in particular.
The Minister issued on spot orders to concerned departments regarding black topping of the roads, maintenance of quarters at Purkhoo, Jagti, Nagrota  Buta Nagar and Muthi on priority basis.
Later the delegation also called on Minister of Revenue Relief and Rehabilitation Basharat Bukhari and apprised him of the problems being faced by the migrants especially due to delay in issuance of ration. It said despite the orders to issue ration as per old scale same was not done till date.
The other issue including simplification of ration cards, issuance of RBA certificates etc were discussed. The delegation also demanded that Apex Committee be constituted immediately.
S K Raina, Sunil Jee Bhat, Bansi Lal, Dr Ramesh, M K K Bhat, A K Bhat, Chand Ji and others were the members of the delegation.
Meanwhile, PDP activists in a meeting at Patoli Brahmana under the leadership of ex-Sarpanch Nana Ji Raina while demanding immediate release of ration have expressed confidence over the steps taken by the coalition especially the Revenue, Relief and Reha-bilitation Minister, Basharat Bukhari regarding implementation of second phase of PM’s employment package.
