JAMMU, Apr 28: Security Wing of J&K Police under Civic Action Programme today organized two separate functions at Govt. College of Education Canal Road Jammu and University of Jammu.
In these functions competitive examination books, almirahs and sports material were distributed.
Speaking on the occasion, ADGP Security J&K, Dilbag Singh, highlighted the importance of Civic Action Programmes started by the J&K Police and its positive impact on building better relations with civil society. He also emphasized the importance of books in the life of students and urged them to inculcate the habit of reading books for their better career plan.
Vice Chancellor, Jammu University Prof. R.D. Sharma and Principal Govt. College of Education Dr. Kaushal Smotra stated that these platforms are necessary for better coordination with Police and look forward for such interactions in future also.
