Woman charred to death, parents allege foul play

DODA, Apr 29: A woman was charred to death after the house of her in-laws caught fire in Thathri.
As per police sources, people noticed huge flames from the roof of a double storied building this afternoon at Thathri.
They raised alarm and tried to douse the flames with water but were unable to control it as the entire house was made by dry wood.
Later, fire tenders and police reached the spot and controlled the fire but by then first floor of the house was completely damaged.
A woman, who was present in the first floor identified as Shaista Begum (23), wife of Abdul Hamid, a resident of village Bunjwah, at present Thathri.
However, People of Thathri and parents of the deceased alleged some foul play by her husband and in-laws and were demanding their immediate arrest.
A case in this regard has been registered at Thathri police station and investigation started.
