MENDHAR, Apr 29: A minor boy today crossed over to Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) from Balakote area of Mendhar in district Poonch.
Official sources said that 15-year old Zulfkar Ali, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Lanjiot village in Balakote today crossed over to PoJK this afternoon. The boy was beaten up by the parents after he stolen a mobile phone in his neighbourhood.
Annoyed over the thrashing by parents, the minor boy then crossed over to PoJK. Later, the parents reported the matter to the Mendhar police. The SDPO Mendhar said that matter will be taken up with the Pak authorities tomorrow.
