MENDHAR, Apr 29: A kidnapped minor girl, hailing from Gursai area of Mendhar in Poonch district was recovered from Shopian area of Kashmir by police today.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of the parents of the girl, Sara Bi (name changed), daughter of Faqar Din, the police party from Mendhar under the supervision of SDPO Shahid Nahim sent a police party to Shopian and recovered the girl today after three days. The alleged kidnapper, Suleman, son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Kalakote was also arrested. The girl after Medical examination at local hospital at Mendhar, was handed over to the family.
