BJP committed to meet aspirations of people: Sat Sharma

SRINAGAR, Apr 30: State President, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma visited Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and addressed the party workers.
While addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma reiterated party’s commitment to fulfill the promises of people in the State.
“BJP is committed to meet the aspirations of people in the State. And for that scores of schemes have been launched to benefit the people”, Sharma said, adding, whole country was mired in the corruption during the Congress regime and BJP has been consistently working to recover the country into the development path in a transparent manner.
Launching scathing attack on NC and it’s top leadership, Sharma said that people of Ganderbal voted NC and elected Omar Abdullah as MLA, but he miserably failed to address the grievances of the people.
“The roads are in dilapidated condition and there is no development visible on the ground despite receiving huge funds. People have been left at the mercy of God,” Sharma said, “The dynastic rule has only exploited the people not only in the Ganderbal, but in entire State,” he said and demanded Accountability Commission to probe the scams.
Sharma appealed people to vote only for BJP in the upcoming Panchayat elections to make smooth path for massive development of the area.
The party State president also ensured people that Central University Kashmir (CUK) will soon start functioning in the Ganderbal campus. “Construction work on Z- tunnel will start very soon which will provide jobs to the scores of youth and BJP is committed to employ local youth to carry small construction work,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul asked district administration to listen to the grievances of the people and solve the same in a time bound manner.
BJP State spokesperson Khalid Jehangir, MLC Sofi Yusuf, district president Ganderbal and organiser of the function Bashir Ahmad, State publicity secretary Dr Ali Mohd Mir, protocol incharge Arif Raja, senior leader Sheikh Rashid, besides many others were present on the occasion.
