Notorious bovine smuggler lands in police net

JAMMU, May 2: Police arrested a notorious bovine smuggler, who was wanted by various police stations regarding different criminal cases.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Miran Sahib police station conducted a raid in Marallian area and arrested a notorious bovine smuggler, who was evading his arrested for the past sometime.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Majeed alias Babbal, son of Mohammad Hanief, a resident of Murallian.
He was wanted in various cases registered with different police stations including Miran Sahib. He was also wanted under Section 512 CrPC and was also declared absconder by Banihal police.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
