Additional pension

Sir,
Reference to Cabinet decision  DE, Apr 12 and SRO No. 138 Dated 25th April, 2016 regarding grant of additional pension to elderly pensioners who have crossed the age of 80,85,90,95 and hundred years.
A big kudos is due to the first woman Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State for extending much needed care to the elderly pensioners/family pensioners who are in advanced stage of life, on the lines of the benefit already being given to the pensioners of the Central Government. Most of the members of this class of the society are on their beds in dumb and deaf condition and can not move out of their houses to pay  their thanks to the Chief Minister. Such humble and meek persons of the society are required to be given the said additional benefit without undergoing any complicated formalities in the offices of drawing and disbursing authorities.
It needs no mention here because it would already be in the mind of the Chief Minister to give due increase in the medical allowance to such pensioners/family pensioners as the existing amount of medical allowance of Rs 300 sanctioned many years ago is just a mockery because it is a fact known to all that such senior citizens have to spend the entire amount of their pension/family pension on their medical treatment because on every visit the doctors charge not less than Rs 500  and the cost of medicines and laboratory tests is touching the sky.
Yours etc…
