JAMMU, May 3: A 31-year-old youth was found hanging in Mastgarh area of the city, late last night.
According to police spokesman, the youth identified as Love Tuli (31) son of Pawan Tuli, a resident of Ward No 3, Mastgarh, Jammu, was found hanging with the hook of the ceiling fan at his residence by family members, late last night.
“In unconscious, the victim was shifted by the family members to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where, the doctors declared him as brought dead”, the spokesman said, adding after conducting post mortem today the body of the deceased was handed over to their legal heirs for last rites.
He said that a case in this connection was registered at police station Pacca Danga and inquest proceedings initiated under Section 174 CrPC.
