KISHTWAR, May 4: Mar-wah police rescued a girl and arrested the kidnapper.
As per police sources, family members of a girl lodged a complaint with police station Marwah stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Mohammad Hussain, son of Ghulam Ali Lohar of Hanzal.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 1/16 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at Marwah police station on April 28 and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Marwah police station conducted raid and rescued the girl. The kidnapped tried to escape from the spot but was also arrested by the police.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
