POONCH, May 4: Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council Jahangir Hussain Mir has provided electric water cooler and desks to Government M S Boys Poonch city worth Rs. 1.5 lacs out of his CD Fund which was installed and inaugurated by him today.
Besides prominent citizens, parents and staff the education officers were also present on the occasion. While addressing the audience Dy. Chairman said that the students are the future of the nation and as such it is the responsibility of the teachers to impart good education to them. He said that though the modern infrastructure, equipments and new educational techniques are the need of the hour yet the basic requirement is work culture and responsibility towards the betterment of educational system.
He said that the students are simply students irrespective of their backgrounds and teachers should take them equally and encourage the downtrodden. He said that the Government school teachers are highly qualified and more paid so the educational standard of the government school students should be at par with private institutions.
