UDHAMPUR, May 5: Encroachment was removed from prime land of Tourism Department located at picturesque Panchari area in District Udhampur by demolition of illegal structure raised on departmental fenced land.
Director Tourism R K Varma had complained about the land encroachment on Tourism Department’s fenced land at Panchari, located in Khasra Number 328 by one Gopal Singh of Village Meer. Tehsildar Panchari Narinder Singh provided demarcation of area.
A team of Tourism officers, headed by Tariq Hussain Naik, Asstt Director, Tourism and Baharat Bhushan JE with the assistance of local police and Revenue staff, removed encroachment from 15 Kanal fenced land of the Tourism Department.
