JAMMU, May 6: A delegation of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) Jammu, comprising of All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Forum, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, ReT Teachers Forum, School Education Non-teaching Employees Forum and Contingent Paid Employees Forum, called on Director School Education Jammu Smita Sethi and apprised her about various issues of the School Education Department employees.
The delegation, led by N S Jamwal, Ganesh Khajuria and B B Kotwal, raised the issue of repatriation of Lecturers and Masters working in other districts who have completed their tenure to their home districts. The members also demanded early holding up of DPC of non-teaching employees of department and speed up the process of regularization of all Incharge incumbents. They also demanded early disposal of ReTs’ regularization cases and release of grants under SSA, RMSA & Mid Day Meal.
The SEECC members also appealed the Director to take up the case of enhancement of wages of Contingent Paid Workers as per Minimum Wages Act and also their regularization as has already been done in case of their counterparts in Kashmir province.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured early redressal of the demands and grievances projected by the SEECC. She also sought cooperation of SEECC for further improvement in the overall academic excellence of the School Education Department.
Others, who were part of the delegation, included Charan Dass, Deepak Sharma, Darshan Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Kashmir Singh, Ravinder Singh, Jatinder Sethi, Ansuiya Gupta, Chhankar Singh, Tilak Raj, Dr Nek Ram, Sanjeev Kumar, Virender Kumar, Anchal Saini, Madan Lal, Rajesh Sharma and Bharat Bhushan.
