Prices end steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, May 7:  Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 10,550-12,650, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 11,150-11,350, Urad best Rs 11,250-11,850, Dhoya Rs 11,650-12,050, Moong Rs 6,900-7,600, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,400-7,800,Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,800-8,300 and best quality Rs 8,300-8,500.
Masoor small Rs 5,800-6,050, bold Rs 5,850-6,050, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,350-6,850, best quality Rs 6,450-6,950, Malka local Rs 7,050-7,350, best Rs 7,150-7,450, Moth Rs 5,600-6,000, Arhar Rs 9,000, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,900-13,600.
