Srinagar, May 8: Police today said a pedestrian was killed in a road accident in Bogund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police spokesman said a Santro car hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohammad Afzal Dar at Bogund. “The injured was shifted to Qaimoh Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries,” he said.
The spokesman said that after completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. “Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
