KATHUA, May 9: MLA Bani Jewan Lal conducted two days extensive tour of remote areas of Bani Constituency.
During his tour he addressed public meetings at Koili, Fagloth, Kote and Narra. He announced various works worth Rs 8 Lakh which included construction of tractor road to Kote, bridle path from Bhedu to Tapper and Billapar. Besides, lane works at Dodoni and water supply scheme for Narra were announced by him.
MLA assured the people that new era of development has started with the formation of BJP Government at Centre and BJP and PDP coalition in the State.The BJP & PDP Government in the State is committed to equitable and sustainable development of all three regions, he added.
Jewan Lal took a review of all ongoing work projects in the area and urged upon the officers accompanying him to speed up the work for the early completion of ongoing developmental projects of the area. He also announced Rs. 10 lakh for construction of tractor road at Duggain in Malhar Block in which Rs. 5 lakh will be spent from CDF and Rs. 5 lakh from convergence. BJP district vice president Bishamber Dass, Mansa Ram Sarpanch Bhandar, Moti Ram Sarpanch Kanthal, Darmej Singh Naib Sarpanch Doulka also addressed the Public gatheringss.
