UDHAMPUR, May 9: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Kumar Gupta, today kick started blacktopping work of Jail Road, Shiv Nagar.
The work was started in the presence of Anil Gupta, AEE, R&B and Hillal Ahmed, Jail Superintendent, Raj Kumar Bucha, a youth leader and many others.
The cost of blacktopping of the road, which is about one and a half kilometer in length, is Rs 35 lakh. While speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kumar Gupta exhorted upon the engineers to maintain quality of material to be used in the work.
The MLA assured the people that the pace of development of the constituency shall readily accelerate further in all the fields. He also urged the people to be vigilant towards the quality of the work and bring to his notice if they found any deficiency in the quality.
Pawan Gupta further assured the public that all the roads which have not been yet blacktopped, will soon be blacktopped.
