2 pilgrims hurt in accident

REASI, May 9: Two persons were injured when a Matador carrying  some pilgrims from Shiv Khori to Kara  collided with a truck near Dhanwa village  today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when a Matador, with pilgrims  on board, was on way to Katra town from Shiv Khori  in Reasi after performing Darshan.  Near Dhanwa village,  the matador collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction at a sharp curve.
Two injured passengers namely, Somawati (50), wife of Jaipal Sharma   and  Vidhi (18), daughter of  Adhav Kishore Sharma, hailing from Kanpur (UP) were removed to GMC Hospital, Jammu. Right arm of Somawatii was badly crushed  and  got nearly chopped off  during the collision.
