ADG NCC urges students, cadets to take part in social services

JAMMU, May 13: ADG NCC J&K Major General SS Jakhar visited 2 J&K (I) Coy NCC Bhaderwah.
Major General visited Government Degree College and GHSS Bhaderwah, where he inspected boys and college wings of the college and school. He was accompanied by Officer Commanding Colonel Ravindra Singh.
While interacting, ADG said that the Directorate of NCC is keen to provide all necessary facilities and benefits in college as well as the GHSS Bhaderwah. He stressed that the corps was keen to have quality cadets and not only quality.
Major General Jakhar urged the cadets and students to join NCC and serve the nation by choosing the field of defence.
He stressed for National Integration and urged upon the students and cadets to take part in social services like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, plantation drives, traffic awareness, NCC camps and other NCC activities.
ADG was presented a guard of honour by the NCC cadets of GHSS Bhaderwah.
Principal of the school Anie Kotwal while speaking on the occasion remarked that the visit of the ADG to the school will be source of inspiration, encouragement and motivation for the young cadets.
