AVMJ highlights problems

JAMMU, May 14: Various problems being faced by the general categories were discussed in detail in a meeting of Aarakshan Virodhi Manch Jammu (AVMJ) held here under the chairmanship of its president Ram Pal Seth.
While addressing Seth lambasted the politicians raking up caste politics and individuals for demanding constitution amendment for getting restored provision of reservation in promotion, which has been abrogated by the High Courts of different States and termed as illegal and unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India.
Seth said such politicians are never worried about corruption, nepotism and undesired political and administrative incompetence and price-rise. He declared that our politicians have lost all sense of responsibility and become arrogant, proud and self-centred. For them constitution has become a thing of play and they consider themselves above law.
Yash Pal Sanson, general secretary and Madan Lal Narad, secretary of the Manch also spoke on the occasion and raised various genuine points.
Others who participated in the meeting included Som Nath Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Deepak Khajuria, Bhushan Pargal, V K Sharma, Jagdish Dogra, Raj Kumar Banathia and Madan Abrol.
