ANANTNAG, May 15: Bandipora-Gurez road which was closed in December 2015 due to winter and bad weather has been thrown open today on the instructions of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon.
The Divisional Commissioner also stressed upon the Beacon authorities and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora for immediate repair and up-gradation of Bandipora-Sumbal road so that the commuters may not face any inconvenience.
He also directed the concerned officials to speed-up the work, setting the deadline of two weeks.
