MLA conducts extensive tour of remote areas

DODA, May 15:  In his ongoing efforts to reach to the common masses of rural areas and provide basic amenities to their doorstep in fair and transparent manner, MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar today conducted a visit to remote areas of the district.
During his visit to far flung areas of villages Shiva, Sharerna, Rai, Halalbani, MLA listened to the grievances and problems of the locals.
Responding to the demands at various place relating to adequate supply of safe drinking water and power, widening of roads, the MLA announced Rs 4 lakh from Constituency Development Fund for the up-gradation of road connecting  village Shiva to the city.
He directed the Assistant Executive Engineer PHE to issue pipe line and install hand pumps in villages of Rai and Sharerna to cater the water scarcity.
Speaking to the gathering in Halal Bani, Mr Parihar stressed on the development of the area on tourism line as it is the only potential spot of tourism in Doda constituency. He further said that the spot will be shortly converted to pilgrimage tourism to attract more tourists.
