Relief holders warn agitation

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, May 16: The relief holders at Jagti have warned to launch agitation in case the ration was not released by the Government within two days.
In a statement issued here today the relief holders alleged that maximum families in the Jagti township dependent on cash relief are at the verge of starvation as the authorities have failed to provide relief to the migrants for last five months.
Relief holders representative Sunil Pandita and Jagti Welfare Committee president Vijay Kaul have sought the intervention of human rights organizations and appealed them to save the exiled people from starvation as the State government was totally callous towards them.
They also criticized the role of CAPD Minister and alleged that he and his department were deliberately creating problems for the displaced people.
