RAMBAN, May 18: Chanderkote police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past three years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Chanderkot police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2013.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Qayoom Reshi, son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Ladoora, Baramulla.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 66/13 under Section 279, 337 and 338 RPC with police station Chanderkot.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Chanderkot police station Inspector Daljeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of Additional SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
