JAMMU, May 18: A deputation of Mini Bus Workers Union led by its provincial president Darshan Kumar Mehra, met the Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and apprised her of the need of having Terminal Points and Mini bus stops in Jammu city as well as on rural routes.
The JMC Commissioner gave them a patient hearing and assured an early positive response to address the concerns of the workers.
The provincial chairman of the union S Niranjan Singh has, meanwhile, appealed all the drivers and conductors of mini buses to wear uniform while driving and not to play music systems and also stop the vehicles on the recognized mini bus stops to avoid congestion.
Others in the deputation were Balwinder Singh Tony, Jatinder Khajuria, Ashok Ohie, Jagatar Singh, Raj Kumar Choudhary, Razak Choudhary, Naveen Kumar, Gafoor Ali, Om Parkash, Suram Singh, Kuldeep Gupta, S Bunty etc.
