Property worth lakhs gutted

JAMMU, May 18: Property worth several lakhs got gutted in fire, which break out in a house at Main Bazaar, Bakshi Nagar.
As per police sources, a fire broke out in the temple room of a house in Main Bazaar, Bakshi Nagar due to short-circuit.
After getting information, a team from Bakshi Nagar police station led by SHO Inspector Ashwani Sharma rushed to the spot and fire tenders were pressed in to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the household items got completely damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bakshi Nagar police has taken cognizance in this regard.
