The internally displaced relief holders are suffering for want of ration for the last four months. A sheer discrimination with the sufferers. Likewise, the Above Poverty Line (APL) cardholders have also been deprived of monthly ration quota for the last four months now.
No notification in this behalf has been issued by the Govt so far. That is another sad part of the issue.
The ration coupons issued on 19-6-2012 were valid for thirty months i.e December 2013. But no fresh cards have been issued since then. Likewise, no ration coupons for the relief holders have been issued since Ist April 2016, there by causing harassment to the consumers.
This reflects callous attitude of the authorities and speaks volumes about the functioning of the State administration.
It seems that there is no one to listen to the genuine grievances of the internally displaced.
The matter merits immediate attention by the powers that be.
