The summer is at its peak. The weather man predicts temperatures to go up and heat to continue. There are many chances of getting a heat stroke unless remedial measures are taken. Health Department used to issue an advisory through the print and electronic media advising the public to follow certain Dos and Donts. I am especially writing so that the senior citizens, who are the first victims of this heat, get educated on the subject. Health Department always comes to the rescue of public in case of any such health hazard. Let the health directorate wake up and hurry up with the necessary advisory. Small school going children are equally prone to heat strokes. Let the department also take care of them as well.
