SRINAGAR: A police party was attacked by gunmen at Tengpora bypass in Srinagar this afternoon, official sources said.
A police spokesperson said that details are awaited. Sources said militants attacked a police party at Tengpora, about five km from here. One police personnel was reportedly injured critically in the attack.
This was the second attack by gunmen in Srinagar today. Earlier, during the day, three police personnel were killed in a similar attack at Alamgiri Bazar in Zadibal area of the down town. (agencies)
