SAMBA, May 25: One person was killed while two others were injured in a road mishap at SIDCO Chowk, Bari Brahmana today.
According to police a Trala bearing registration number HP 12 D7673 hit a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK 21-4564 which was on its way from Samba to Jammu resulting into serious injuries to three persons. They were identified as Asgar Ali, 26, son of Mast Ali of Faridabad district Bareli UP, presently at Rajpura Samba, Sunil Kumar, 24, son of Buta Ram and Vijay Kumar, 30, son of Tony Ram both from Mawa, Samba.
Police said Asgar Ali was first taken to Om Hospital Bari Brahmana where from he was shifted to GMC Jammu in a serious condition but he succumbed to his injuries in GMC & Hospital later. The other two are undergoing treatment at Om Hospital, police added.
The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law and started investigation.
