NEW DELHI, May 28: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section moved up by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following better cargo movements against tight trucks position.
Transporters said shortage of trucks against cargo movements, mainly resulted rise in some of centres freight rates.
Delhi to Mysore, Guwahati and Bengaluru freight rates rose by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 66,000, Rs 55,000 and Rs 61,000.
Rates to Puducherry, Goa and Pune also went up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 67,000, Rs 53,000 and Rs 29,000.
